Background:
I'll make you proud...don't worry."
Throughout her whole life, Charlotte is was use to pleasing her parents. She never made them disappointed nor did she ever do anything to disappoint anyone. Which is probably why she seems to be such a perfectionist at times. It's not like she always wanted to disappoint anyone. It's more like her parents made her like that. They were strict parents, her father was an acting couch whereas her mother was a singer. They were the ones who mostly taught her, and as the rumors about their family said, the daughter was exactly like them. She had a brother though, who wasn't noticed as much by the family. He was older and was into business and such. Everytime he visited he always found some witty way to make her mad...in a loving way. He always thought she'd be a grumpy little gale. But well...not until she fell in love.
At this point in her life she was still living in Italy (though she could barely speak much Italian because her parents threw English at her from the first day she was born). She was attending an performing arts school where she met the love of her life. Or so she thought. She was a blindness girl in love and proudly dismissed her parents to be with this guy. She was more happy than before. More...herself. Love at first site right? BUT, The guy turned out to not be the love of her life in the end. Yes, they got engaged, had an engagement party, and everything else. She was excited to get married, since he was fairly wealthy and charming she didn't need to worry much about a strict career. That is...until he didn't show up on their wedding day. Her trust for anyone was broken that day. She found out that later on, her parents were the one that paid him enough not to show up. Devastated she sought out to find him, only to find him talking about her with a new woman. She dropped kicked him to the ground. Later on burning down her dress while roasting smores over it. Though she still wears the ring, not on her ring finger though, but as a necklace.
From that point on, she focused on her performing arts career. Even though she was mad at her parents for doing something like that. She didn't mind since it seemed as if he never really loved her at all. Only for her money it seemed. She didn't blame him for that, but she did blame him for leaving her ass on the wedding day. She swore never to wear all white again. When she was old enough and had a stable job that made her more then enough she decided to move out of Italy. To her, it was a place of bad memory's and it was bad enough she kept seeing her ex-fiancee' all the time. Seeing as how their family became business partners when they were engaged. So she moved, and thankfully when she moved she discovered that a school was hiring for teachers. She had heard of OneHigh before, she often considered moving as a child just to go the school. It was ironic that she ended up wanting to be a teacher for it. To her, it was a new start, she didn't know anyone and they didn't know her.
